Financial Disclaimer

Dracit shows you where rewards may be left behind. It does not tell you what to do with your money.

Effective: September 4, 2026

The short version

Dracit is an informational calculator, not financial advice. Every dollar figure is an estimate based on the data you enter and assumptions about rates. Always confirm current terms with your card issuer before applying for a card or changing how you use one.

Not financial advice

Dracit provides informational calculations only. Dracit is not a bank, card issuer, broker, lender, financial advisor, or credit counsellor, and nothing it shows you is financial, tax, credit, or legal advice. Using Dracit does not create an advisory or fiduciary relationship. For decisions about your finances, speak with a qualified professional who can consider your full situation.

Estimates, not guarantees

The amounts Dracit displays, such as “rewards left behind” or “recoverable per month,” are estimates, not promises of savings or earnings. Your actual results depend on your spending, your specific card terms, category caps, exchange and redemption values, and other factors Dracit may not capture. We do not guarantee any particular savings.

Assumptions behind the math

Dracit separates evidence from assumptions. Published earn rates come from cited card sources. Per-litre rewards are calculated only when the transaction includes verified litres and eligible-merchant evidence; Dracit does not infer litres from a dollar amount or fuel-price guess. Transaction categorization, repeated-month scenarios, and other disclosed modeling choices are estimates rather than facts about your account. If an assumption does not match your situation, the estimate will differ from your real outcome.

Verify with your issuer

Always verify current terms directly with your card issuer before you apply for a card, switch your spending, or rely on a reward. The data behind Dracit can be out of date or incomplete, and the issuer's published terms always prevail. See our Data Accuracy Policy for how we source and date card data.

Approval and eligibility

Whether you are approved for any card, and on what terms, is decided entirely by the issuer based on its own criteria. Dracit does not determine eligibility, does not apply on your behalf, and cannot guarantee approval, a credit limit, a welcome offer, or any benefit.

Rates, rewards, and perks change

Card rates, rewards structures, fees, caps, insurance coverage, and promotional offers change frequently and can be withdrawn at any time. A figure that was accurate when it was last verified may no longer be accurate today. Treat everything in Dracit as a starting point to check, not a final answer.

Your decisions are your own

Any action you take after using Dracit, including applying for, closing, or changing how you use a card, is your decision and your responsibility. Dracit does not know your complete finances, goals, tax position, credit history, or issuer-specific terms. Proposed warranty and liability wording appears in the draft Terms of Service, which is not yet in effect.
